Final Fantasy Type-0 (ファイナルファンタジー 零式 Fainaru Fantajī Reishiki) is a video game published by Square Enix for the PlayStation Portable (PSP). Initally the game was meant to be called Final Fantasy Agito XIII (ファイナルファンタジー アギトXIII Fainaru Fantajī Agito Sātīn). Agito comes from Latin translates to something along the lines of “to get it started”. As the game has essentially nothing to do with Final Fantasy XIII, the title was later changed to Reishiki or Type-0. The idea behind theType-0 name change is to make it into a series. Even though the game no longer has “XIII” in its title, the game still uses the Fabula Nova Crystallis mythology. While a release outside of Japan has not been announced, Tabata is trying to appeal to North American players in his direction of the game.
