Junko: Right, so more about this Wansa-kun. He is a white dog who appeared in a cartoon broadcast in 1973. Originally designed by Mr. Tezuka, he also became a mascot of the Sanwa Bank. Soh-reh!

Junko: In February, a ceremony to introduce the Nintendo DS game Akko de Pon: Ikasama Hourouki was held. This is a new style Mah-Jong title endorsed by the Mah-Jong fan and entertainer, Wada Akiko, and is a collaboration between Actor’s Production Horipuro and game makers Success. It adopts a system where the player can use a genuine ‘hoax’ character, and includes a total of 12 entertainers, including Wada Akiko. It’s sure to become a title which entertainment fans and Mah-Jong fans will be unable to take their eyes from.
