Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit Son Goku vs Recoome

Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit - Son Goku / Songoku

We see Goku and Recoome getting at it in the new Dragon Ball Z Burst Limit, another adaption of the original PS2 classic Dragon Ball Z Budokai. The Dragon Ball Z fighting series ranges from the very early games on the NES over to the halfway decent ones on the SNES where as Dragon Ball Z Hyper Dimension proves very good up until today where many players are playing it via SNES emulators online. The PS1 offered a couple of games which were all quite horrifying and just really for the hardcore fans. The first 3D Dragon Ball was also on the Sony Playstation 1 - Dragon Ball Z Final Bout, I don't even want to remember it. The PS2 showed some better potential with Dragon Ball Z Budokai, which still had a big emphasis on Ki such as Kame Hame Ha's and Do Don Pa's and etc. but it now had a real fighting system, that when looked into deeper was still random, but the match was based around it.

It also featured in game scenes beautifully 1:1 from the Anime (TV Series). Dragon ball Z Budokai 2 was the same but featured more map scenes rather than actual snippets via in game graphics. Budokai 3 was also very similar but the map had been exchanged for an interactive 3D map in which you could roam around freely (flying exclusively though). Now all of a sudden the game's changed and turned into a sort of first person shooter series called Tenkaichi, I only played the second one and wasn't happy with the perspective and fighting at all. And finally we reach Burst Limit...

The fist thing you see when the trailers start are the extremely beautifully designed characters. They have never looked so good and anime like ever. The fighting also seems to go back to the Budokai games with a real fighting system rather than playing Unreal Tenkaichi Tournament. The other thing that stands out quite fairly is that no trailer so far showd any sort of HUD's and the game might be played a lot differently. No energy and Ki bar's could open up a lot of new possibilities but it could also mean that the game might just outright suck, but I don't want to jump the gun here.in any case this is a game we are definitely looking forward to.
