Finally a new Resident Evil 5 trailer which we have been waiting for... well quite some time! As I am sure you probably watched the trailer first before you even bothered to read this, that is if you're even reading this at all... anyway. So what are we getting? For one we finally see some of the mutation, instead of just some bloodshot eyes we have been seeing for quite some time now, a new character has also been introduced, a female character, and a quite attractive darker skinned one at that. If she will be playable has yet to be announced.
There's also a new Chainsaw kinda enemy, which reminds me from it's looks a bit of Lisa and maybe... Altair... ah well.
The trailer gives off the impression that Resident Evil 5 has a relatively busy screen with hordes of infected trying to eat, stab, hack & slaughter you with whatever tool is available. Given the graphics the game is proudly rocking it really is a feast for the eyes. Your surroundings, such as the floor and buildings look just beautiful.

Although I am sure they upped the ante on the controls for better maneuvering and so on, I'd be happy enough to play the game with the Resident Evil 4 controls (actually I'd love to play it with the Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition controls, that is but just a dream though).
On the sound end we have crystal clear sounds of your surroundings and brilliant voice acting (of those four or five sentences we heard there).
All in all the game looks at least like a 101% better Resident Evil 4, and Resident Evil 4 was damn good already. I really can't await to actually get my hands on this one, but god know when that might happen as there's still no such thing as something we call a release date. That's something Capcom's getting really good at (Super Street Fighter II / 2 Turbo HD Remix anyone?).
