The latest Famitsu brought us news of a new character, called Crimson Viper. As you can see on the picture, she looks hot and not at the same time. There has not been much revealed of what her fighting style will be like, but we can only hope that it will be a new one, rather than replacing someone else’s. Details of where the character comes from, or what she is looking for are still shrouded in secrecy, but she does want to fight against Ryu and Ken ... probably because these are the only other revealed characters so far.
Other news indicates that producer Yoshinori Ono is set to have the Street Fighter IV cast consist of 'mainly' returning characters. The game itself is set between Street Fighter II and Street Fighter III, so any character could pop up really. The word 'mainly' is a bit frustrating though, as that will mean some of the good old characters are going to be cut. And from what the game looks like so far, I seriously fear for Blanka's and Honda's existences.
