Final Fantasy gets a new black character… it’s about time as well

Can you believe that it has been since Final Fantasy VII (Barret Wallace) that Final Fantasy had a black Character? Well this is finally going to be changed, Sazh Kalzroy will join the playable crew in Final Fantasy XIII.

Although he doesn’t have the usual bishounen look you’ve come to expect from Tetsuya Nomura, Sazh carries a more realistic masculine look, which I am sure will flow into the game quite nicely. According to the scans he seems to be quite into chocobos and his weapons of choice seem to be dual pistols.

Thinking back to the first Resident Evil 5 trailer with black zombies which caused quite a stir for NO reason as far as everybody with a brain should be concerned, I am not too sure about the chocobos and the guns. It could be interpreted by retarded forum users as racist and stereotypical again. Hopefully IF that happens (and I really hope not!) no one will lend those no-lifes their ears!
