Street Fighter IV – NEKO Tournament in Casino (London)

I made Top 8 again!!! Hells yeah! xD

I know it’s been a very long time since I’ve done anything on Shinohan. To be perfectly honest I might just turn this completely into my blog since I don’t really have the time to do any “news” anyway. Then again though, even for that I would actually need to be not as lazy to do the necessary design changes… ah well we’ll see!

So today I went to the Casino (Casino is our local Arcade here in London) NEKO Tournament, and as I said before – I made top 8! My first match was sort of a joke match I’d think, forgot the name of the dude unfortunately. Anyway, he picked Gouki / Akuma and ALL he did was jump MK or HK, not too sure anymore, into HP Shoryu… regardless if I was blocking, half a screen away… you get the idea. Next I played a Fuerte player who was the runner up in last weeks tournament which I couldn’t attend, as I was watching the new Transformers (sick movie btw! screw you if you didn’t like it!). I beat the Fuerte as well and then my next match was against Zak’s Sagat… yup that’s where all fun ended. Anyways, had a hell of a lot of fun. I also met Rich AKA SirCaneAlot (one of my old housemates, back when I was poooooooor and had to live with other people) had a good chat with him etc.. Vittorio AKA FoxSteve also came down (he actually lives in South Africa btw) and I hadn’t seen him since December 2006 – all in all it was a very great day. Well apart form the fact that the world’s lost one… THE greatest entertainer of all times (RIP MJ).

On that matter, I went to the Flash Mob (Twitter: #Moonwalk) at Liverpool Street with Claire (a colleague of mine) before I went to the NEKO tournament, got some footage from there as well, need to edit it all down first though. But yes all in all not too bad a day.

One last thing – FUCK LAKITU FOR NOT COMING DOWN TO SUPPORT ME!!! lol
