Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology 2 at the top in Japan

Upon release Radiant Mythology 2 stormed the charts in a heartbeat. In the first week alone 217,000 copies have been sold, in comparison the first installment had sold 129,000 in its first week. Namco Bandai is riding the current as it seems (pun intended!). Square Enix doesn’t need to be worried of course, with their releases of both versions for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time (Wii Place 7 & DS Place 4) are present. Konami is occupying positions 2 and 3 with Winning Eleven 2009 for PSP (Place 2) and PS2 (Place 3). Capcom still holding the lines with Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G THE BEST in 5th place and then Namco again on 6 with Taiko no Tatsujin Wii.

Interesting stuff, let’s see what these charts will look like next week when Street Fighter IV starts shipping in Japan.
