The Metal Gear series is known for its crazy villains and their even crazier ideologies. From World domination to being the best bomber in the world…the metal gear franchise is in no short supply of villains. Here are my top 10 Metal Gear villains.
10: Psycho Mantis: MGS – He can read your memory card and move your controller….I don’t think I need any other reason to have him on this list.
9: Vulcan Raven: MGS – Vulcan Raven is such a badass that he literally came at you with a freakin tank…and when you fought him again he didn’t just bring a gun…he brought a gattling gun…if that doesn’t show his desire to kill you, I don’t know what will.
8: Sniper Wolf: MGS – Here is a woman who you don’t want coming after you in any way. She’ll love you, talk to you, toy with you and then kill you….kind of makes you think twice about having a one night stand with her huh?
7: Vamp: MGS2 and MGS 4 – I don’t even know if he is human, but I seriously doubt it if he can survive being shot in the head, drowning in the pure oxygenated water and then being shot in the head AGAIN. The most curious thing is that no one knows Vamp’s true agenda…
6: Volgin: MGS 3 – The man shoots lighting, you can only imagine that he craps thunder. Put aside his fascination with toturing people and you still have a villain who is a masochistic sadist with a love of violence and an unorthodox sexual appetite.
5: Fatman: MGS 2
4: Gene: MGS PO – With aspirations of world domination and revolution…Gene was was just a dick. He’d gladly sacrifice a whole platoon of capable soldiers just to prove his superiority…which shows that he might have suffered from an inferiority complex…then again..when compared to Big Boss…even Liquid Snake felt inadequate compared to his father.
3: Frank Jaeger: MGS PO, MG, MG 2 and MGS – From being Null to fighting alongside Big Boss to being a psychotic Cyborg Ninja, Frank has gone through it all. He’s been shot, blown up by a mine, amputated and steped on…the man makes John McClane look like a pansy.
2: Liquid Snake: MGS, MGS2 and MGS 4 – The man wont die…ever…in fact, he can take over your mind with just his arm.
1: Ocelot: MGS Through MGS 4? - Now I don’t know if he is indeed in control in MGS4, but here is a man who ever since he was 19 has done everything it took to be one if not two steps ahead of everyone…no one can really trust him. He’s killed, betrayed, double crossed and triple crossed people, groups and even governments…he’s the ultimate mastermind.
