Gaming With Khan Episode 3
Gaming With Khan

Gaming With Khan 3On this episode of Gaming With Khan, Ill give you my thoughts on 4 of the best Legend of Zelda games.

Thoughts on Ocarina of Time: I can remember when I was 14 and began my quest through time in Hyrule to stop Ganondorf from destroying Hyrule and amasing the three pieces of the Tri Force. This game’s story is amazing and its story is matched if not surpassed by its ground breaking gameplay that has inspired the very games we play today. The Ocarina is arguably the Zelda if not the best video game of all time.

Thoughts on Majora’s Mask: I remember back in 2000 when this game came out how hyped everyone in school was about it. Unfortunately, I didn’t really like it too much when I played it back then. However, in 2003 I tried playing it again and I truly enjoyed the experience I came away with after playing it. The time travel puzzles and the very personal story of saving a world from certain death really made you connect with the characters. The gameplay was the same as Ocarina of time which is a great thing and a the ability to play as a goron, zora and a Deku Scrub was awesome and innovative.

Gaming With Khan 3Thoughts on The Wind Waker: In 2003, the latest Zelda game caused quiet the stir since it went the way of cell shaded graphics. As far as Im concerned though, this Zelda game looked beautiful. Its story is very personal and you truly connect with the characters of the world and especially with link. The gameplay is once again the same as majora’s mask and ocarina of time and that’s fine by me. I don’t care what others say, but I feel that The Wind Waker is an exceptionally great game that is underrated by many Zelda fans.

Thoughts on Twilight Princess: Dubbed as the game to surpass the Ocarina of time, twilight princess in my opinion is just as good as ocarina of time but not better. I felt the story this time around was perfect because you had both a personal villain and an impersonal villain to deal with. Gaming With Khan 3By this point the Zelda gameplay is like a successful formula with the addition of playing as a wolf. Lets hope this is the last Zelda game to use this kind of gameplay though because its getting old as far as Im concerned.

At the end of the day, Twilight Princess is a brilliant sequel and an amazing Zelda game that deserves all the accolades its garnered and I think it’s arguably the best title released on the gamecube and up to this point released on the Wii.
